Ep. 51 – Magic can happen with Suzi Turner
Suzi Turner hit rock bottom following a car accident, marriage breakdown, bereavement and her home being vandalised all during her 4year degree. She was sleeping less than 2 hours per night, was in chronic pain and comfort eating which led to considerable weight gain.
On the 15th July 2015 Suzi decided she’d had enough of feeling defeated & made the choice to turn her struggle and stress into her strength and success.
Within 8 months she lost 60lbs, ran a half marathon, was featured in Women’s Health magazine, came top of her year at university and was awarded 3 graduate prizes. Suzi then went on to set up her first business in 2017 – a private Speech and Language Therapy clinic specialising in acquired brain injury.
In 2020, Suzi started her second business as a Life Coach and transformational Hypnotherapist. She works primarily with overwhelmed empathetic high achievers and entrepreneurs, supporting them to transform fears, blocks & sabotage in order to thrive. Her mission is to impact over 100,000 people through the ripple effect of healing and empowerment.
In this episode, Suzi shares her journey of constantly people pleasing and, as a high achiever, she could make anything look good. But her panic attacks were getting worse, and one day she couldn’t even leave the house to deliver cup cakes. She realised that no one was coming to save her so she got to work. She lost 60pds, ran a half marathon and was flown to London for a women’s health magazine photo shoot. Be inspired.
