Ep. 43 – Inspiring our kids with Beck Casey
Beck Casey has been happily married for 17 years, she’s the mother of two eye rolling teenagers, lover of all things that generate positive energy and a primary school teacher of 23 years.
Beck’s passionate about giving students a chance to belong, encouraging them to strive to be the best they can be and challenge conceptual understandings. She’s always loved to push boundaries to see what’s on the other side, and she loves hearing her students ask left of field questions that challenge the norm.
In this episode, Beck shares how she loves her kids to challenge the status quo and to ask lots of questions. She’s a teacher that never says no and gives her kids a place to belong, especially the mischievous ones. She teachers her kids that it’s ok fail – because that’s their first attempt at learning and this is a principle she lives by. Be inspired.
