Bamboo Toothbrushes
I’ve been using bamboo toothbrushes since 2018 when I met a woman at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Canberra who was selling them.
They’re biodegradable, BPA free and even contain charcoal in their bristles. This means they’re good for our environment and they don’t contain hormone disruptors that can affect our bodies.
When it’s time to replace them, simply put them in your normal curb side recycling because they’ll break down naturally.
You can get them for adults and kids, they come in different bristle strengths – soft and medium – and I buy in bulk so I always have one on hand, for when it’s time to change my toothbrush, when kids come for a sleep over and forget to bring a tooth brush and I put them in gift gift bags for birthdays and Christmas!
