Bhumi
Bhumi create sustainable and organic bedding, towels, sleepwear and underwear, and they’re so amazing to buy from!
A few years ago, like about 7 years, I wanted organic cotton beach towels and Bhumi came to the rescue. They were very hard to find and I worried about the quality, but they’re amazing and we still have them today. Big, thick towels that dry you off and keep you warm, like a big hug!
I’ve since replaced all our sheets and underlays to Bhumi’s GOTS Organic products and I honestly can’t be happier.
We spend a third of our life in our beds – yes about 8 hours a night, which means we absorb the chemicals that are in our sheets and bedding.
GOTS Organic means the products are organic, from fibre to fabric, they’re ecologically and socially responsible – supporting our world now and in the future.
Organic products takes us back to the ‘olden days’ when crops weren’t sprayed and genetically modified. Meaning, our bodies don’t have to process these chemicals and can be left to do what they do best – create better health for us and our families.
We love the sateen sheets (sateen refers to the type of weave the cotton is made with) and given we live in a warm climate, they’re naturally cooler. We’ve also tried the Jersey and Linen sheets. They’ve all been amazing, and the quality is excellent. With the Jersey sheets they’re naturally warm, so great for winter, and so are the Linen sheets, which was a surprise.
