When we push (ego) to create something we’re pushing from a place of lack.
We’re pushing from a ‘not enough’ space.
We’re not enough.
When we push (ego) to create something we’re pushing from a place of lack.
We’re pushing from a ‘not enough’ space.
We’re not enough.
(Note, You can also insert I, me, he, she, herself, you, it, that, they, each, few, many, who, whoever, whose, someone, everybody – whatever works for you)
Love him right where he’s at.
Don’t ask him to do things for you out of requirement or expectation or to score points.
Let go of all expectations like ‘he should know I/we need…’ or ‘he should just get it’ or ‘he’s part of this family too’
We all have our own version of what health looks like to us, and I believe that we all have core pillars of health – our foundations that are true for us. I also believe that we have a lot of similarities in our pillars but how we choose to implement them can be different.
It’s easier to change our outside world, than it is to change our inside world.
They’re all amazing thing, but when happiness is an inside job, they don’t cut the mustard if you’re looking for a joy that’s with you all the time.
Recently, I realised I’m rubbish at allowing my emotions to move through my body. I honestly thought I was good at it and then I had this ‘not so good’ emotion, that I pushed away, rather than letting it move through my body – whoops!
Is it the same for you?
Each day we have the opportunity to grow and learn. We can let others decide our path for us or we can choose to take responsibility for what we want to create and take action towards it. School taught us to follow direction, life taught us to follow our parents direction and we often continue down that path – in some form or other.
We can think, that when we achieve a goal we’ll never feel the way we do right now again.
It’s just not true.
We’re human and human stuff happens.
As we go about our day, clothes, food, jewellery, holidays are all being marketed to us – oh I mean advertised and we can decide if we pay attention or not.
Whether you’re watching the TV – even the channels you pay for, listening to music on Spotify, watching a YouTube video, listening to your favourite podcast, hanging out on social media or visiting your favourite website and then going to social media or to google – only to see the most recent promotion for that movie, restaurant, car etc. you were just checking out.
And you often have to see something 7-10 times before you actually click ‘buy’, so those ads are going to keep coming, but are they being honest with you?
When we see a green tick or rolling hills with a healthy looking cow on the packaging, a succulent burger with lots of veggies placed perfectly on it or an Icelandic Fiord with someone sipping a crystal clear drink next to it – be it water or alcohol, is that truly where its made and under those conditions? This is green washing.
Are they being truthful or are they telling you what you want to hear?
Who are you? It’s easy to explain what you do – I’m a Mum, Wife, Health Coach, and I can tell you what attributes I have – I work hard to achieve my goals, I’m kind, curious, I come from a place of love, I’m a good listener and I want you to live the best life you can.
But who are you? At our core, we’re a soul – that thing we know is there but we can’t see or touch. Much like anger, love, frustration, happiness – it’s something we know is there but we can’t see or touch it.
Our human bodies feel those emotions, and can act out in according to those emotions – smiling at someone, giving them a hug, crying, punching someone, but much like our soul we can’t physically see and touch it – we have to believe in it.
